The journalism department usually isn’t “big” enough on campus to justify having a formal booster club. But press staff kids spend a LOT of time working outside of class, and having an organized parent group can be a real lifesaver!
Send this flyer home on the first day of school for parents to read on a cute popcorn stationary.
Then, serve popcorn at Open House with additional copies of the flyers.
This specific list was been compiled by students over a few years (notice how specific it is hahaha!), so be sure to get your kids to customize it.
I will tell you – my parents have COME THROUGH time and time again and stocked us up for WEEKS with just a tiny bit of promotion. This kind of makes asking for help FUN!
