SOLVE A PROBLEM
Our brains don’t inherently know how to “create content” – but we are good at finding solutions to a problem. Reprogramming the way we think about design allows us to be more creative.
ideate
VERBAL DESIGN
Explore how to speak “to” the audience with tone, mood, and consider social, emotional, societal, and financial sensitivities.
VISUAL DESIGN
Explore the 7 elements of design and draft concepts that will convey your message.
prototype
DRAFT CONCEPT
Ideas flow more naturally with pencil and paper, than hand and mouse. It is also faster, easier to start over, and generates more creativity. You are focused on the concept, and not how to do it in your design software.

SHOWCASE
We are creating work that will be published publicly, so it’s important to practice receiving feedback. It is also helpful to gauge public perception of a new initiative with a test group.
All activities, notes, and worksheets provided at the workshop!
